a/c temperature swings
Does the air conditioning temperature in your rooms vary?
If the room temperature swings more than about 3 degrees between when the a/c goes off and on again, it usually means that the heat pump isn’t cycling on often enough. Usually this means that the belt is worn or improperly aligned and needs replacement. Improper installation of the belt can over time wear out the motor bearings, it may be worth it to call a technician to replace the belt.
If the room temperature drops lower than the set temperature you have set on the thermostat, it usually means that the thermostat is improperly calibrated or installed where it doesn’t sense a proper sampling of room air. The easiest solution is to turn up the thermostat or call your local heating and cooling expert for a free estimate.
